Clarification on Reuploaded Content
Several users have pointed out potential confusion regarding uploads of remastered videos. We want to address this issue for clarity.
A VR porn studio– like any artistic project– is a dynamic enterprise. Studios evolve, adopt new techniques, and incorporate user feedback, leading to an expansion of their artistic scope beyond their initial vision. While this expansion brings variety to fans, it also raises questions about when content diverges too far from the original vision or becomes too unwieldy to fit under the same label.
In such instances, studios may opt to establish a new, more specialized brand to maintain organization in production and enhance user experience. While generally beneficial, such changes can sometimes be disorienting if not adequately communicated, risking the perception of disingenuousness. Recognizing this, we aim to be transparent and clear up any misunderstandings.
Take RealHotVR, for example. They recently launched Seductive VR as their sister studio, focusing on solo girl scenes, unlike the mainly hardcore BG scenes of RealHotVR. Previously, both types of scenes fell under the RealHotVR brand, but circumstances prompted a change.
Firstly, they realized that the time is right to remaster much of their older content. VR technology evolves quickly, and they now have the tools to bring some of these older gems into the beautiful world of 8K. Obviously, we’re all in favor of that.
Secondly, during the remastering process, it made sense to reorganize their brand identity, providing a natural breakpoint to differentiate their content logically. When faced with hundreds of videos eligible for remastering, organizing them into manageable groups streamlines the process and adds coherence. Again, we completely understand this.
Our ultimate goal remains delivering the best content possible. However, for those not familiar with VR video post-production, the lack of clear communication can lead to misunderstandings.
So here’s our plan going forward:
- RealHotVR will continue remastering solo scenes under the Seductive VR banner, bringing them up to current standards in all their 8K glory.
- The original, un-remastered scenes will be categorized under "Sandbox" on SLR.
- We'll also tag the original scenes with a comment containing a link to the newly remastered version.
We understand that other studios may adopt similar approaches to updating their older content. While each studio's approach varies, we're committed to keeping you informed about the rationale behind uploads, reuploads, and remasters, addressing any miscommunications promptly. In reality, these changes are often less dramatic than they appear without proper insight.
