Apple Vision Pro has the potential to a fantastic VR experience. Check the instructions below for a simple guide to enabling WebXR support in Safari.

Due to limitations on Apple's side, we advise that you change the quality of the video outside of VR Mode:

1. First, open the video
2. Then change the resolution
3. Then enter Immersive mode

The resolution of this video is 8000x4000. It's 8K, but you'll see the figure 4000p because we display the height parameter.

How to watch SLR on Apple Vision Pro

We are working to make it simpler to use SLR on Apple Vision Pro. In the meantime, follow the instructions below to get SLR working via WebXR in Safari Browser.

How to enable WebXR support in Safari

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Apps.
3. Select Safari.
4. Scroll to the bottom-- select Advanced.
5. Scroll to the bottom-- select Feature Flags.
6. Under Experimental XR Features, enable:
   1. WebXR Device API
   2. WebXR Hand Input Module
7. Under Webkit Feature Flags, enable:
   
   1. WebXR Augmented Reality Module
   2. WebXR GamePads Module
8. Exit Settings.
9. Return to Safari.
10. Refresh a WebXR-enabled page.  

Note: This is recorded on the Quest, but demonstrates the logic behind how DeoVR works on the Vision Pro. We will provide a video recorded using the Vision Pro very soon.

Have an iPhone or iPad ready

Vision Pro requires a face scan with FaceID from an iPhone or iPad. If you aren't already an Apple user with one of these devices, be prepared to ask a friend to borrow theirs and get scanned in before you order. 

Update your Apple Store app

You will need the latest version of the Apple Store app to place a pre-order for the Vision Pro. 

Find your vision prescription

Vision Pro is tailored to each user's unique vision needs for those of us who wear prescription lenses. It's not meant to be worn with glasses. They will provide custom optical inserts that accomodate your prescription, so long as you can provide an unexpired prescription form a U.S. eye-care professional. 

Features

The most noteworthy feature is its incredible pixel density. It features a micro-OLED display, meaning the detail, clarity and dynamic range are sure to be outstanding. The display– in combination with its pancake lenses and fully automatic eye-tracking lens adjustment– is capable of providing users with an exceptional visual experience, though the Field of View is reportedly smaller than that of the Meta Quest 3.

• Vision Pro has no internal battery. It requires a tethered battery that provides 2.5 hours of use per charge.
• The device is relatively heavy, with all of its weight sitting on the front of the face. Longer sessions can be fatiguing, according to users. 
• Vision Pro is fundamentally a VR headset, despite Apple's marketing suggesting that it is a novel technology. It's a very good VR headset, but not anything truly revolutionary or groundbreaking.
• While the Vision Pro offers a suite of features that work seamlessly within the Apple Ecosystem, it is not primarily engineered for viewing VR video content like VR porn. 

How To Watch SLR on Apple Vision Pro

WebXR

Apple Vision Pro supports WebXR, which means SexLikeReal works out-of-the-box. Connectivity for streaming SLR Passthrough videos and haptics works just as well as other VR platforms. Enabling WebXR support via Safari, as instructed above, is how you can enjoy SLR videos as soon as you receive your Vision Pro. Our team is currently working to optimize the experience and make streaming SLR on the device more simple and intuitive in future app and website updates.

Spacial Computing

Apple has coined the phrase "spacial computing" to describe what many would recognize as Mixed Reality (MR) or Augmented Reality (AR). Some of the features associated with this system appear to be novel, but the concept of blending the real world with the virtual world is nothing new-- even if Apple does end up delivering a remarkable experience. The takeaway from this feature is that passthrough videos will find a fantasic home on the Vision Pro. 

Object Capture

Apple has revealed a developer tool called Object Capture which allows real objects to be rendered in virtual 3D environments by simply capturing a few photos from different angles. We are already exploring the potential of this tool for VR porn. 

Passthrough VR porn on Apple Vision Pro 

Viewing passthrough content from SexLikeReal on the Vision Pro is not possible yet. It simply shows a black background, and the video quality can't be changed from the default of 1920p. This is because Apple does not give access to AR. It can not be enabled, even in the settings. However, as soon as they enable it in an update of the Vision Pro OS, it will be enabled automatically for all users - there will be no need to release an update. 

Passthrough AR is a prominent feature of the Vision Pro. It has several features that will affect Passthrough VR Porn once made available:

• Sensors Provide detailed scans of real-world environments in stereoscopic color. 
• Two processors One for regular computation, the other entirely dedicated to sensor input.
• Eye-tracking Automatically adjusts IPD and simplifies UI.
• Foveated Rendering Reduces processing load and optimizes visual detail. 
• Hand-tracking Eliminates need for controllers.
