The Handy 2 is the follow-up to the stroker most SLR members are already familiar with. The biggest change is that it can now run without a power cable. It works with SLR interactive scripts, connects much like the first Handy, and adds a longer stroke, an LED display, and redesigned on-device controls.
What's new in the Handy 2
The Handy 2 runs on a rechargeable battery, so there's no cable, unlike the Handy 1, which needs a socket.
Stroke length increases from 110mm to 125mm. The Handy 2 also adds a side-mounted LED display and redesigned controls, letting you see speed, mode, and battery status directly on the device.
The ClickOn system makes sleeve swaps quick, while adapters support third-party sleeves. There are also built-in mounting points for hands-free setups.
The battery makes the Handy 2 heavier - 805g for the Standard model, compared with 700 g for the first Handy.
Handy 2 or Handy 2 Pro
The device comes in two versions: the Handy 2 and the Handy 2 Pro. They use the same body, sleeves, software, and connection options. The main differences are the motor, maximum speed, and battery.

Battery life is the biggest practical difference - about one hour on the Handy 2 against about five hours on the Pro. Both models work with SLR the same way.
