Featured Studio: Forbidden
Forbidden is a brand new studio and an exciting new addition to the SLR roster.
As the name implies, the studio aims to satisfy a niche of VR porn that fans can’t get enough of: the stuff you can’t get away with in real life. Forbidden is run by Max Well, who was kind enough to sit down with us for a brief conversation about Forbidden, how it started, and where he hopes to take it next.
What’s the concept behind Forbidden?
MAX: I wanted to create a fun way to explore these taboo and forbidden sexual fantasies that could happen in real life. If you have a teacher or stepmom crush, or hot doctor or hairdresser– whatever it may be– that you would want to get into a sexual relationship with, but it's not proper to have. 3D VR is the closest thing most people can ever get to it, so I want to make the best immersive content for these viewers.
What made you want to start a VR porn studio?
MAX: In the very beginning when I heard about virtual reality I knew, in the long run, it is going to be huge. Meta is proving it right now. As the old saying goes, “sex sells.” So that's when I started to focus on virtual reality. First, I was promoting VR porn affiliate programs and I saw that there was a huge category missing. I decided that it was time for me to get into VR porn production myself.
If you could book any model for one of your scenes, who would it be?
MAX: Hmm, that's a tough one. I've been very lucky to have worked with great female and male talent who are really fun people to work with too. If I had to pick: Ember Snow. I would love to work with her. She looks absolutely gorgeous and sounds like a really fun person to work with. For me, it's important to work with people that are fun and enjoyable to be around off camera also.
Is there anything else you would like to share with viewers?
MAX: My studio is going to put a lot of effort into producing Passthrough videos just like SLR Originals but focusing on the illicit fantasies concept. I think that's where the future of VR porn is going to be.
