What Are AI Scripts?
AI scripts are files that sync with interactive sex toys like The Handy to mirror on-screen action. These were once made manually, but now SLR’s ScriptsAI tool automates the process, making scripts available for nearly every scene.
Where AI Scripts Are Available
- All suitable POV, hardcore, gay, and trans content
- Censored JAV processed same day
- Retroactive support for older scenes
- Icons on thumbnails show whether a scene has AI or handcrafted scripts
How They're Made
We trained our AI model on hundreds and hundreds of expert handcrafted scripts. Using advanced computer vision and deep learning, the AI analyzes video frames to generate synced motion.
“The goal is to automate script creation for most scenes. We’re using cutting-edge computer vision and deep learning.” – SLR Head of Machine Learning
Key Insights from AI Script Development
- Similarity to Human Scripts: On average, AI-generated scripts are 65% identical to handcrafted ones. Some are as high as 78%.
- Higher Motion Amplitude: AI scripts tend to feature stronger strokes compared to human ones. Users have responded positively to the added intensity.
- “Ghost” Movements: These unexplained strokes usually result from AI misinterpreting camera cuts or motion blur. It’s being actively refined.
- Pacing Issues: AI can fall out of sync during fast-paced scenes. Frame rate limitations may be a cause, but improvements are underway.
- Performs Better Than Beginners: AI-generated scripts usually beat scripts made by novice human creators but fall behind veteran scripters.
- User Feedback: Since a major update in October 2023, overall response has been very positive.
“No more harsh strokes, depths better matched, even obstructed parts improved... These are the best AI versions I’ve seen to date.”

Instructions for using local script files and downloaded video files:
Place the script file in the same folder as the video file and make sure both files have same title (with .funscript as the suffix for the script file). The script should automatically register with the video and your interactive sex toy.
Instructions for using local script files and streaming playback:
- Rename the script file to match ONLY the video ID (For Example = 10100.funscript for the Creampie Fantasy video)
- Place the script file into the “Interactive” folder in either the root directory on Android devices OR in the root directory of the Quest storage OR the “Documents” folder on Windows
- Stream the video in the DeoVR App

Realcumber Q&A
We also spoke to the VR world’s most-respected script-maker, Realcumber, about the script-making process and where things will go in the future.
How does the process of automated script creation work?
Currently, I focus on and advise my fellow SLR scripters on how to craft the best and most immersive scripts possible for our customers and currently that involves manual hand frame-by-frame scripting for best results.
Previous investigations into the field of automated script making, which have been tested and are currently still being investigated involve a combination of motion-tracking systems and position estimation. These scenes were tested by running them through internally developed software and script output would be analyzed and checked for quality and accuracy.
What are the biggest challenges for automating scripts?
The biggest challenge is trying to convert the 3D motion on screen into single-axis scripts that feel three-dimensional and ultimately immersive enough to blur reality and keep wanting to return to.
Although we definitely want more scripts for our users, it’s vital that we maintain the quality they are accustomed to and that means keeping as high an immersion factor as possible.
There is another challenge that automated scripting will need to overcome and that is the obstruction of views during the action, either through body parts, positioning or various objects interacting within the scene itself. This often obscures the action and prevents the software from accurately transcribing the onscreen movements.
How can we overcome these issues?
It’s tricky. Most current solutions involve a number of tradeoffs to ensure the final product delivers a great, enjoyable, immersive experience for the user. Multi-axis toys are the future but for now, single-axis toys are the focus and an important and significant amount of artistic editing is needed to blend points and toy movement together for an immersive script.
Can AI help?
AI may be able to help if it can help predict points or place points beforehand reliably so that very little editing or checking is needed, if at all - otherwise, it could potentially end up taking more time needing to properly edit.
One solution would be to shoot scenes with scripts in mind from the very beginning. This would ensure the right motions and techniques are used during filming so as to not obstruct views and move toward toy-friendly movements - this would make scripting quicker and therefore easier.
What can SLR users do?
The best thing would be for as many people to join the scripting community as possible.
We also value your feedback. We’d love to hear your constructive advice on where AI needs improvement, or email any questions to scripts@sexlikereal.com.
Other than this, SLR users can help by continuing to subscribe and purchase scripts. This supports the whole scripting economy - not only encouraging people to keep creating high-quality scripts but also encouraging directors and studios to shoot content with haptic sex toys in mind.
