How SLR will shape the world of VR porn in 2023

It’s been another exciting year for SLR and we’re looking forward to many more great things in 2023. Some of the incredible projects we’ve been working on throughout the year will only materialize into actual products over the coming months. Here are our upcoming plans, in no particular order. We will update this post with new information as things change and develop.

More and better SLR Originals. Currently, we are only limited by the small number of high-quality production teams who can do VR properly and reach the high standards we demand at SLR. We’re also looking for a casting director to help arrange bookings and select who we are shooting. We’re also looking to re-vamp the EU team to become the best it can possibly be. We’ll be releasing 20 scenes in December alone.
More VR content producers in all kinds of niches are coming to SLR than ever before. We’re doing our best to get everyone looking to shoot VR set up and running.
Steady JAV production in Japan. The situation has improved and we’re preparing to launch full-scale JAV production in early 2023.
More compilations and PMV as we open Originals for everyone to make their own combinations.
The exciting "Shorts" feature is due in February.
Producing more Passthrough videos. Potentially we should be able to make almost every video passthrough using the magic of AI. It’s likely that we’ll create a dedicated file for each video with a transparent background.
Making the Build Your Own Journey scripts public so you can share them like Spotify playlists. We’ll be adding voice synthesis using AI so that performers will speak your scripted words in their own voices (this will likely be short phrases).
We will begin filming with our 10K in-house rig. This will provide superb resolution and an incredibly realistic image. The camera rig is expected to be used on set in early 2023 - we will be releasing some demos soon.
The 2-axis SLR Interactive sex toy will be close to being released (estimated April 2024). We have a dream team working on it right now who are making great progress. It should be shipping your way by the end of the year. We will be posting some renders soon and will send early prototypes to SLR fans for testing and feedback - which we will replace with the actual CV sex toy once it is released. Hopefully, we can get replaceable covers, like the ones used on your smartphone, so you can put some great stuff onto it.
Multi-axis scripts support for the OSR and SR6 strokers should be coming in Jan/Feb 2023.
You will also be able to upload your own scripts through your user profile for any SLR video and stream them using the app.
We’re making good progress with AI-automated scripts. We will start releasing these soon, along with an AI script editor for creators that should make script creation much faster as well as ensure superb quality.
A greatly improved WebXR experience is coming in January. Using sexlikereal.com in the Oculus/Meta Browser should deliver as good quality as the native SLR and DeoVR apps. It hasn’t been updated for a year but this major step forward should help with the ultimate aim of bringing all the functionality of the app to the browser.
A greatly improved SLR app is coming, as we are getting a greatly improved understanding of Unity and everything else related to VR video streaming. We’re also looking for more Unity devs to join us.
We’ll be releasing the SLR knowledgebase and documentation for every feature we have. We’re looking for writers and managers to help with this project.
We’ll be adding an option to message performers similar to the system used by OnlyFans. We’ll also release a share of video profits to the performers. No other platform is offering anything like this.
We’ll be kicking off with applied 6DOF - the first step will be releasing in-app support for depth maps in February.
Improving the functionality of voice search and commands. Ultimately you can expect voice interaction inside VR, plus AI doing its magic with the performer’s voice and video plot.
We’re ultimately looking into the multiuser spatial experience where we all can hang out in the metaverse.
