Time tags are going to get even better than ever with new offset and editing functionality
We’re working on some major improvements to the way time tags work, meaning you can get to the content you want quicker than ever, and with pinpoint accuracy! This is at the research and prototyping stage right now, but we’ll let you know when these features are ready to drop.
Time tags are hugely popular on the SLR app, allowing the user to see at a glance where their favorite content is in the video. Love doggy? Use the time tag to jump right to the action.
Now we’re about to add the ability to shift the time stamps along the timeline all at once. If the time tags are slightly out of sync with the action, now you can quickly and easily shift them all forward or back a number of seconds so they line up perfectly. This way you won’t miss a second of the hot action.
This tool will be added to the player settings so you see it at a glance and make whatever changes you need.
The expert SLR devs are also working on the ability to edit existing time tags, and even add new ones for yourself. If there’s a particular part of the video you enjoy and want to return to it over and over again, now you can put a tag there so you know exactly where it is.
The team is working hard to implement these useful features but improvements like this can take time to be perfected - keep checking back to keep up to date with all the details.
We’d love to know your thoughts on this and any suggestions you may have. Join the discussion over at the official SLR Forum and make your voice heard. We read every post and your thoughts are always welcome!
