New! Hide unwanted content on SLR
One of the most requested features by SLR users is the ability to customize your view and exclude various types of content that you're not into. Our developers have been working hard to implement this and now we’re delighted to announce the launch of this for web users of SLR.
This should greatly improve the user experience for everyone, meaning you can focus on the kind of immersive VR content that you love, without interruption! Here’s everything you need to know.
First, it doesn’t just apply to scenes! You can hide entire studios, all content from specific models and even everything from various tags. That means no more risk of being interrupted by turn-offs during your VR experience.
The image below shows how this works. After being hidden, a text overlay will show what has been removed from view, and after refreshing the page this won’t show up anywhere on SexLikeReal (apart from in the History, My Collection and Watch Later pages).
You can also hide the Studios, Models, Tags, and Scenes directly on their pages, as shown in the image below:
You can manage all your Hidden Content by going to the Hidden section of your User Profile, as also seen in the image below. Here you can choose to unhide any specific videos or change the settings for categories, studios and models.
If a user hides the Blonde tag, for example, there will be no scenes to display for some models. When this happens, we show a special message with a link to display the hidden content:
We have a few more things in development as well which we hope to implement as soon as possible, including:
- Do not display hidden content in the SLR app
- The ability to manage the settings in the app
- Making sure hidden content doesn’t show up in search results
- Providing a special message to notify you when only a part of a scene would be hidden.
If you’ve been waiting for a simple and effective way to avoid the kind of VR content you don’t like, this is the perfect update for you! The response so far has been extremely positive, as you can see in the replies to this post. Join in the discussion on the original announcement on the SLR forum - we'd love to hear your thoughts.
